Optimized Scrum (with qaOptimization Certification)
In this certification program, students will learn qaOptimization for Scrum: a method for overcoming challenges related to testing within Scrum. Participants will learn how to assess their Scrum implementation for qaOptimization and how to use the practices that produce the best Scrum teams worldwide. The course reveals both the secrets that Scrum founder Dr. Jeff Sutherland has used to coach venture-funded portfolio companies and the secrets that qaSignature has developed and used to improve Scrum testing over the last 10 years.
Each student will receive instructional materials and gain hands-on experience by using qaOptimization for Scrum on simulated projects. The first project simulation deals with basic qaOptimization for Scrum practices through a 30-minute technical group exercise. The second simulation leads participants through the entire planning and prioritization process, based on a legacy product, release and sprint backlogs.
The simulations are designed to show participants how, in practice, the qaOptimizationMaster role fits in with the other Scrum roles (Product Owner, ScrumMaster and Team) and the other Scrum meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum and Sprint Review with the shipment-ability decision). Participants will gain an understanding of how to move from good to excellent performance, increase productivity from 2x to 10x while also increasing the overall product quality and, ultimately, produce extreme business value. Participants will also learn how to scale qaOptimization for Scrum projects to any size.
Upon successful completion of this full-day course, students will become certified qaOptimization Masters and may keep all instructional materials for future reference.
Who Should Attend
This certification program is suitable for managers, programmers, testers, analysts, product managers or anyone interested in working on or with qaOptimization for a Scrum team. Students will receive a solid foundational knowledge of how and why qaOptimization for Scrum works, and how it can dramatically improve Scrum productivity. Through practical, hands-on exercises and small group discussion, you will be prepared to plan your first qaOptimization Scrum sprint immediately after this class.

- Level 1 Certification (Introduction to qaOptimization® and Optimized Scrum)
- ScrumMaster certification or equivalent Scrum experience
