Case Study

"When it came time to decide on an QA Automation Partner the decision was easy. We were looking for a partner that would share in the risk. No other firm would do the work at a Fixed Price and include maintenance of the scripts for a year at no additional cost. Maintenance alone was a huge factor in our choice."

Tim West, SVP Development

Enterprise Media Server:

Developed the following automation:

  • Installation, Smoke, Regression and Performance

The Enterprise Media Server Installation time was reduced from 3 people for 40 hours to 57 minutes and also included the added Smoke test. The navigation portion of the smoke test was also expanded and was used as a basis to build up functionality for a regression test.

  • Expanded the automation to multiple platforms and configurations.
  • Through extensive resource monitoring, problems such as racing conditions, memory leaks and exceptions were quickly identified for correction.
  • The Regression Testing for the critical path through the product was accomplished in 30 days.

Business Document Server

  • Developed Regression Automation

The development of regression automation for the Business Document Server project ran in parallel with the Enterprise Media Server project.
