Anyone wants to race me this Sunday?

Hello, my friends!

I have wonderful news to report this winter: my youngest son, Danny, went up the mountain on the lift and down the green trail! A Dream come true: my whole family is enjoying my favorite sport together. After 25+ years of skiing I too had a chance to take classes with the best skier of Mont Tremblant in Canada, Pierre Prevost, the best of the best of the few! Oh, boy, the man can ski! (Follow this link to see Pierre and me on the mountain) In his attempt to help me get rid of the some old mistakes, he took a picture of me. A picture is worth a thousand words they say… One glance at that picture and it all became clear to me. I saw all my bad habits and mistakes acquired in 25 years of skiing. You think you know what you’re doing until a pro looks at you from the side. For those of you, skiers, please, look at my picture (follow this link) in the turn below and take a guess how many mistakes I made in one single turn? For the one who comes closest I will send a box of Russian candies (Pierre if you are reading, nice try...but you are not in the contest, I will just buy you a beer next time I am in Tremblant).

They would not have to experience the pain of bringing pieces of it back and trying to figure out what went wrong.

But enough of the small talk, they don’t call me "Crazy Russian" on the mountain for nothing! Here is my challenge. I am planning to be at Wachussett Mountain this Sunday, skiing with my family. I would like to challenge anyone out there. I will race you down the slope of your choice three times. If you beat me in the sum, qaSiganture will provide our evaluation program for your team at no charge. I will also publish the picture of the winner on my web site. If I beat you, you buy me a beer at the end of the day.

I am hoping to see some real sports at the slope this Sunday, 2/27/05. By the way I will be waiting from 10:30 till 10:45 at the customer desk. To my dear friends and supporters, please, feel free to come along to see Vlad beating everyone to the finish run!
